The summer heat has been hard on lawns but really sparked growth in gardens. With no room for a proper garden, I use the south-western facing porches of my house to grow a potted garden. Red Geraniums, Portulaca, Sunflowers, Asiatic and Day Lilies help dress up the place while Parsley, Cilantro, Rosemary, Thyme, Basil and Beefsteak Tomatoes serve a practical function.
I’ve been bitching about how everyone else manages his or her blogs, so I decided to try it myself. The censoring of my post yesterday on The Venner Vox really showed me how opinionated blogs can get. That blog started out as a way for the public to comment on select articles from The Recorder. In my opinion the Venner Vox has become less than fair, showing partiality to certain posters. If a blog has posted rules to follow, they should be applied equally in a manner that is fair, firm and consistent.
